Campaign Overview

Across Northern and Central Nigeria, Christian communities are facing continuing violence—communities attacked, churches destroyed, worshippers abducted, families displaced, and lives lost. Internally displaced camps are growing and filled with thousands of Christians fleeing their homes often with only the clothes on their back. Yet too often, this suffering is met with media silence, denial or reduction to abstract debate.

“I stand with Naija Christians” campaign exists to bear witness, speak truth, and stand in solidarity with persecuted Christians in Nigeria. The Nigerian Christian community needs as many friends as would stand by her at in this moment in history. In obedience to the command “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).

Purpose

To continue raising awareness of the ongoing violence against Christian communities in Nigeria.
To challenge the continued denial of genocide with credible and visible support
To build momentum and call for justice, accountability, and the protection of Christians in Northern and Central Nigeria under the law.
